🇫🇷 Famille (re)composée à l'univers bien singulier, LA BATTUE nous offre un premier titre d'obédience indie pop bercés par la musique répétitive et onirique de Steve Reich, les expérimentations et le goût de l’analogique de Broadcast, la verve de Stereolab, la pop orchestrale de Local Natives et de Grizzly Bear.
Une écriture simple, efficace et entêtante où les harmonies vocales occupent une place de choix, renforçant le côté sunshine de certaines compositions.


🇬🇧 LA BATTUE is an extended family of sister, brother, and friend, and their first single "Big Picture" takes us on a short visit to their universe, fundamentally indie pop, influenced by the repetitive and dreamlike music of Steve Reich, the experimentation and love of analog found in Broadcast, Stereolab’s verve, Local Natives’ and Grizzly Bear’s orchestral pop. The songwriting is simple, effective and catchy, and particularly strong in vocal harmonies, like a ray of sunshine.
